How to adopt a bun
Have you done any research on bunnies before inquiring bunnies are a 10+ years commitment they require as much care as a cat or dog. Please read threw everything below and fill out the form to see if you'll be a good fit for one of our babies.
Importance of Spaying/Neutering
Bunnies can get really bad hormones when they are of age this includes lunging, growling, spraying, circling your feet, and marking. If your not wanting to breed we highly recommend you find a bunny savvy vet and get them fixed. A bunny without hormones is easier to bond and fully litter train. Unfixed females also have a high risk of uterine cancer and will make nests from time to time aka false pregnancy, the bunny thinks they are pregnant when they really aren't. We recommend pine tree vet in Maple Valley WA if your in driving distance.
One Bunny or two?
Having one or more bunnies is up to you but there are positive and negatives to both. Having one bunny you will probably not have as much hormonal issues as with two however one bunny will need alot more attention then two. Having more than one bunny as a bonded pair they will snuggle and play together however when hormones hit they can easily unbond or make oopsie babies neither of which you'd want to happen. If having a bonded pair we recommend getting them fixed when of age.
